According to § 3 of the statutes, one of the purposes of ISAR e.V. is to support people in need and suffering at home and abroad. The association pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of §§ 51 and 52 of the German Tax Code (AO).

The statutory purpose is achieved in particular through donations, aid transports, support for youth projects and similar measures. The association is selflessly active and does not primarily pursue its own economic purposes.
